Odd as well was that they then had me return to Mariscal Sucre in the morning for breakfast. I mean, it was fine, perhaps even better than Mariscal Sucre, but seemed odd. And then, strangely enough, they had me stay at the hotel next door.
Despite all this the hotel would not make any redress of this issue.

No one was at the desk & it took my taxi driver searching around for 5-10 minutes & finally going to the hotel next door before they found someone to help us. There I found another guest from my same flight who had suffered the same issue & had to pay for a taxi. When I got to the airport no one was waiting for me & I had to take a taxi, paying $10 for the 5 minute ride to the hotel. Then, when I saw that my stop-over was going to be delayed, I sent them a message (~6 hrs before arriving). Before leaving I wrote & confirmed my flight details for pickup & they responded.
